What is a Traineeship?
A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience which will unlocks your potential and prepare you for your future career by helping you become ‘work ready’.
The Support You Need
Traineeships can last a maximum of 26 weeks, however the length of the programme will vary depending on your needs and can be much shorter. During the programme you will be given support with Numeracy and Literacy, C.V Writing, Interview Skills, Job Search, Confidence Building, Team Building, Communication Skills as well as Personal and Social Skills.
During your initial meeting with our friendly and experienced team, we will discuss your individual needs and put together a tailored programme for you to help you develop the necessary skills to move into employment and an Apprenticeship. With real work experience being fundamental to Traineeships, it allows you to show potential employers, first hand, what you have to offer.
Will I get any financial support?
All young people on Traineeships are eligible to apply for Learner Support Bursary and will receive up to £40 a week.
