Start: At any
time
Timetable: Contact
course provider for details.
Qualification:1
NVQ Level 1 in Hairdressing
Content:
E2e aims to help you if you are not ready to directly enter
a job, training or college to develop self confidence, motivation
and practical skills in a work based environment. E2e can
also help to develop a range of other skills, eg how to use
a computer, how to manage money better, how to prepare and
cook meals or how to improve maths or writing skills. If you
want to try a placement or to build confidence, then you may
want to cover skills such as preparing a CV and preparing
for an interview. There is often the opportunity to complete
qualifications of your choice, for example: First Aid, Food
Hygiene, CLAIT and other short courses. Whilst on e2e you
will have the opportunity to talk about common issues that
many young people face today, such as pregnancy, being a parent,
substance misuse and homelessness. You will also get a chance
to meet and make friends with new people who have similar
experiences to you.
Entry: If you
are aged 16-18, not at school, college, in training or a job,
then Entry to Employment (e2e) could be the programme for
you. If you are 19-24 you may still be able to do e2e. Your
local Connexions Service will tell you about e2e and how it
can help and support you.
Cost: You will receive a minimum weekly allowance of £40.00
for attendance of 16 hours or more. You will also be reimbursed
full travel expenses and financial support is also available
for childcare if you have this specific need. Special incentive
bonuses are available throughout your programme for your commitment
to and achievements whilst on e2e.

who will talk through and agree an individual learning programme
that is unique to your individual needs.
