In 1997 NEETA Ltd was recognised as an Investor In People and has maintained the standard to date. In 2009 Investors In People announced a new assessment structure whereby organisations can choose to be assessed for Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards with the assessment criteria increasing in detail across the levels.

From the 27th - 29th October 2009, NEETA Ltd were assessed by Angus Hynd from Investors In People North East against the Gold standard criteria. NEETA are delighted to announce that we have achieved the Gold award and are the first training provider in the North East to be awarded this accolade. Indeed, Robert Macleod, Managing Director of Investors in People North East said "Less than 1% of all Investor in People organisations in the UK achieve gold recognition and it means that they have achieved world-wide best practice".

On achieving Gold status, Managing Director Susan Briganti said "Gaining the Investors In People Gold award means a great deal to both myself and our business". " I have always placed great importance on the development and well being of our staff as I believe they are our greatest asset." "In fact, our 10 longest serving members of staff have a combined total of more than 100 years service."

On Wednesday 21st October 2009, at NEETA's head office within the Gateshead Skills Academy on the Team Valley, a charity day was held in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer .
A range of Hair and Beauty services were offered at £3 each and refreshments were provided. There was a raffle which featured a special edition "Pink" GHD gift set supplied by NEETA Ltd as first prize. Level 2 Beauty Therapy Apprentice Jade Poynter won the raffle and was delighted with her prize.
NEETA's learners from Hair, Beauty and School Links were all involved in the preparation of promotional leaflets and posters which they then distributed, selling raffle tickets, preparing refreshments for clients, carrying out treatments and tidying up after the event.
In total £310 was raised and everyone who came enjoyed their day.
Well done to all our staff and learners who contributed to raising funds for a very worthy cause.
