Leaving school and not sure what to do next? Do you have a few options in mind and not sure which one would suit you best? Progress with NEETA could be the answer.

Who is it suitable for?
Progress 2 is a pre apprenticeship programme aimed at school leavers aged 16-18 to help them identify in which direction to go, whether it be employment or further education.

What's involved?
This flexible programme is a minimum of 16 hours a week up to a maximum of 30 hours depending on your individual requirements and lasts upto 12 weeks. NEETA will cover all of your travel expenses and you may also be eligible to claim Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) which we can help you apply for.

How will I learn?
Progress 2, uniquely, is delivered through a consortium of providers to ensure that young people receive specialist support to maximise their opportunities.

Progress 2 offers the opportunity of real work experience in a large number of different professions. Taster days can also be arranged, so, if you have 2 or 3 different careers in mind you can try them all before deciding which to pursue.

In centre, sessions will focus on confidence building, employability skills, job search, CV writing and interview techniques.
